Production time
- Standard prints (unframed, flat-shipped): 2–3 business days
- Framed prints: 4–6 business days
- Personalized items (birth markers, name prints): 3–5 business days
- Custom commissions: 2–3 weeks — we'll confirm timing over email
Your order enters production as soon as we receive your details. Orders placed before 12:00 CET on a business day typically enter production the same day.

Note: Gelato prints your order at the facility closest to your delivery address. That means most orders ship domestically or regionally within their destination, reducing both transit time and carbon footprint.
Shipping costs
Calculated at checkout based on your address and order size. We don't mark up shipping — you pay what the carrier charges us.
Customs and duties
- Norway, EU, UK, US (under $800): no customs expected
- US orders over $800: may incur import duty — paid by the buyer on delivery
- Rest of world: may incur duties depending on local regulations
We ship with accurate customs declarations. We cannot undervalue shipments to avoid duties.
Order tracking
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking the moment your order leaves the production facility. If tracking stops updating or your order hasn't arrived within the expected window, write to hello@fornvegr.com and we'll resolve it.

How to return
- Email hello@fornvegr.com within 14 days of delivery
- Include your order number and reason for return
- We'll send return instructions and the return address (Oslo)
- Ship the item back using trackable mail, you cover return shipping
- Refund processed within 5 business days of receiving the item, to your original payment method
Returned items must be in original condition, unhung, undamaged, in original packaging. Prints showing hanging marks, frames with scratches, or packaging destroyed beyond opening cannot be refunded.
Defective or damaged items
If your order arrives damaged or with a defect:
- Photograph the issue within 48 hours of delivery
- Email photos to hello@fornvegr.com with your order number
- We'll ship a replacement free of charge, no need to return the original
We stand behind our work. If something isn't right, we fix it.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placement if production hasn't started. After that, personalized items cannot be cancelled. Standard items can still be returned under the 14-day policy once delivered.
